Becoming a sanctuary for regenerative living in the Pyrenees

Minds & Mountains is an eco lodge in the Pyrenees, offering accommodation and transformative experiences through deep connection with nature. Known for its sustainable practices, including organic meals and personal transformation activities, the hosts envision the space evolving into a “showroom” for regenerative living and working.

The horizon is to inspire tourists, companies, and local communities to go beyond sustainability, embracing regenerative practices that nurture systemic change. By positioning itself as a hub for creativity, conscious action, and bioregional transformation, Minds & Mountains aims to attract organizations and individuals ready to engage in this shift.

However, when connecting with our team, the communications and brand did not fully capture its gifts and medicines, limiting its potential to draw organizations seeking to transition from sustainability to regeneration. Minds & Mountains seeks to clarify its essence, define its regenerative value, and learn to tell its story in a way that mobilizes regenerative tourism.

Against that background, re:storied was tasked with rebranding, offering co-design and copywriting support, and developing the website.

OUR PROCESS

At re:storied, Regenerative Branding is a coaching-led and relationship-driven journey.

We don’t start with a website or a visual identity. We are here to co-create the right conditions for the project’s essence to come online. That is why we begin with the inner landscape from which the true message can grow.

We designed the branding journey as an immersive experience into the heart, soul, and horizon of the client.

We shaped the brand coaching as a DNA-like thread between Minds & Mountains’ inner world and the outer manifestation of their gifts; between holding space for their transformation and expressing it through branding and storytelling, and the web presence that naturally emerges; between who they are today and who they are called to become as part of the place they steward.

OUR FLOW

Following an ecological approach to client development and branding, re:storied has designed the coaching process as a landscape of transformation, just like the client’s eco lodge.

 

We started the first session “at the portal” — a liminal gateway into the client’s inner microcosm. It’s at that re:storied portal that all ingredients needed to reflect the Minds & Mountains’ unique Regenerative Brand DNA emerged: the brand world they are called to bring to life.

A seasoned approach

We worked with Minds & Mountains’ energy of the ecological succession phase and season. Our service package consisted of different time horizons and adapted service packages to guide the client toward embodying regenerative tourism stewardship.

A spacious horizon

The start of our journey was an exploration of the aspirational microcosm of the client – the world they want to inhabit and invite guests into. At the horizon, the client became an elder, holding wisdom for others to make their dreams come alive.

A fractal dynamic

We ensured the coaching topics nurtured our client’s growth in embodying their posture as spaceholders for transformative experiences. To support this growth, we wove various threads through exercises, reflections, and movements between the sessions.

Reconnecting to what we have lost

Minds & Mountains is rooted in Nordic life philosophy, local pagan traditions of the Pyrenees, and diverse influences from global wisdom traditions. The hosts hold space for honoring and practicing – often lost – indigenous European cosmologies as much as contemporary regenerative design.

THE ROLE

Holding space for transformation through nature

The Minds & Mountains hosts are stewards, facilitators, and spaceholders of personal and collective transformation through nature. They also serve as facilitators of conversations and community-building around regenerative hospitality and tourism in the Pyrenees, weaving local partnerships and modeling new forms of cultural and ecological flourishing.
